Research Interests: Systems at mesoscopic scale show unique physical properties such as electronic properties, optical properties, mechanical properties, thermoelectric properties due to their confined geometry and big surface to volume ratio. Our research interest is focused on understanding fundamental physics that determines charge transport related behaviours in mesoscopic systems, and constructing novel nanostructure devices.
Currently we are working on one dimensional spintronics and single molecule opticelectronics, understanding the interplay of electron and spin, electron of photon process in the mesoscopic regime.
